Today is Repeal Day, the anniversary of the ratification of the 21st Amendment and repeal of the 18th Amendment, also known as the Prohibition one. Prohibition ended the in 1933, making this the 80th anniversary. That’s so special it’s deserving of proper celebration.
I was disappointed to find that City of Ate’s roundup of Repeal Day celebrations didn’t include a single beer event. Not a one. After all, “beer is the most popular alcohol beverage of choice for American adults.”
So I fixed that for you. Here are your options. Enjoy like you would have 80 years ago. You’ll probably also find a few extra notes on Facebook.
