The enlightened among us may have evolved to a point where we might have the ability to serve our own keg of Dallas’ local beer goodness at home or with friends. But, as you might already know if you have a home kegerator or bar, locking in the ideal temperature (and pressure) for serving a particular beer or a particular style can be a tricky trial-and-error process.
For Velvet Hammer, we don’t have to guess anymore. Michael Peticolas himself answered the question on Twitter. The golden number is 40 degrees.
Set temp at 40 @Getes11 .
Room temperature glass and that beer will warm as you drink it.— Peticolas (@Peticolas) October 13, 2013
Enjoy.
